Students need more practical ways to have an active voice in school culture and problem solving because I think that having a voice to make change can help students who feel left out as well as let more people be heard.
How is it
A Problem?
I have talked to people in my own grade and even grades below me that have dealt with this problem and never found a solution for it. They too, feel that their voice is not being heard and that makes them feel less than.
Why is it
Important?
I want to change our school’s atmosphere and inspire others to do just that. I have ran for so many positions during school and have lost to the popular kids. And the ideas I have then are lost to the bigger voice. I want an equal chance for everyone. I want to feel like I can be apart of something and have a fair chance.
